Superior Court Judge Jack Panella and the Justinian Society hosted Italian law students and attorneys

Students and practicing attorneys from across Italy visited the Pennsylvania Superior Court in Philadelphia. President Judge Emeritus Jack Panella and a number of Justinian Society members talked about the American state and federal court systems, and presented extensive descriptions of civil, criminal, family law and appellate practice. The trip was organized by the Università di Parma, led by Avv. Stefano Maffie (Ph.D. Oxford) and Claudia Ricci of the Università di Milano.
Joining President Judge Panella were the Honorable Paul Panepinto (ret.) of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, Charles Peruto, Jr., Esq., Perry de Marco, Jr., Esq., Michael Grasso, Esq., and the Chancellor of the Justinian Society, Thomas Chiacchio.
For years now, the Superior Court Justice of Pennsylvania Jack Panella and the Justinian Society have hosted Italian law students and attorneys. After spending a few days in Philadelphia, the law students and attorneys travelled to New York City.
