The Justinian Society of Philadelphia will present the CLE luncheon "Consumer Law: An Overview" with Robert P. Cocco, Esquire of The Law Offices of Robert P. Cocco on April 29th at Dilworth Paxson, 1500 Market Street, Suite 3500E.
Summary:
Americans are the most prodigious consumers in the world, but have little or no awareness of the laws that protect them in the many important consumer transactions they commonly enter into. This CLE will survey the primary federal and Pennsylvania consumer statutes that offer consumers protection from various abuses by creditors, debt collectors, credit reporting agencies, and car dealers. Topics will include Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
