Temple "Academy of U.S. Law" Reception for Italian Lawyers 07-24-2008
On July 24, 2008, members of the Justinian Society, the Justinian Foundation, Italian-American judges, area officials and heads of Italian-American organizations in the Philadelphia region, and representatives of Temple University School of Law attended a cocktail reception on July 24, 2008 in the City Hall to celebrate the culmination of Temple Law’s first annual "Academy of U.S. Law" for Italian lawyers.
During two weeks in July, Temple Law hosted 26 visiting attorneys from Parma Italy for a symposium addressing the U.S. legal system and cross border practice between Italy and the U.S. with an emphasis on Pennsylvania. All of the attendees also completed Temple’s English for Lawyers Program (EFLIT) in Italy.
During this celebration, the Justinian Society honor its guests and celebrate its rich heritage and embraced our City’s deep roots in law and education.
